PP strapping is a practical choice for many cartons, bundles and light-to-medium loads. The correct grade depends on required break performance, elongation, joint efficiency and equipment.

Define the load and its edges

Pack weight, rigidity, compression sensitivity, edge profile and handling cycle determine how much tension is useful and whether edge protection is needed.

Match the strap to the joint

Buckles, seals, friction-weld or heat-seal systems do not deliver identical joint efficiency. The chosen tool or machine must be part of the brief.

Keep core and coil format visible

Core dimensions, coil width, winding, dispenser fit and coil weight affect whether a technically suitable strap will actually run in the operation.

Know when PP is not the answer

High retained tension, very heavy loads or demanding transport conditions may call for another strapping material. The application should decide before price does.

Define the band in four passes.

Use your present coil, machine plate or pack trial as a reference where available.

What is being secured?

Start with the pack and handling cycle, then describe manual, semi-automatic or automatic application.

Nominal width and thickness should be accompanied by acceptable tolerances where equipment fit is critical.

Protect the coil geometry.

Crushed cores, unstable coils and poor pallet restraint can turn usable strapping into a line stoppage. Coil orientation, separators, carton strength, stretch wrapping and pallet pattern should be confirmed with the product.

CIF pricing is based on the agreed destination port and shipment scope. The buyer remains responsible for destination import clearance and onward handling unless the contract states otherwise.
